1977 Ford F-350

1977 FORD F350 RANGER XLT CAMPER SPECIAL 4X4 LONGBED HIGHBOY! Yes,this is the truck ford never built but should have! Lets start where this story begins. While out roaming the country side I spot this amazing original paint 77 Crewcab ford. I have a friend who was looking for a Crewcab 4x4 but found nothing but rusted junk. I give him a call and tell him about the F350 with original paint and no rust. Fast forward he buys the truck and builds the truck with all of the candy!! We start with a low mileage F350 Ranger XLT Camper special with original paint and no rust! ( I say no rust but there is a small spot on the rear pasenger side door) You install a stout 1971 429 BIG BLOCK and a smooth shifting C6 With a married tranfer case. Upfront is a 1979 High Pinion disk brake front end. A 1979 freshley rebuilt power steering box. Custom built and balanced drive shafts. Install a 4 inch Rough Country lift and shocks. Mount NEW MV motorsport wheels wrapped with LT235/65/18 Cooper radials and you have ONE BAD $SS FORD TRUCK. The 429 is strong and has just been tuned and all of the fluids changed. The C6 shifts smooth and is ready to work or play. The tranfer case goes in and out of 4 wheel drive like it should. The truck has all new brakes and hoses. All of the fluids in the truck have been changed. The body is amazing! If you know these trucks you know what you are looking at. The only spot on the truck is the passenger rear side door. This is just no the exterior. The paint is original, original, original! No bondo or rust suprises. The interior is in great shape. New carpet was installed. The floor pans under the carpet are nice and shiny paint no rust! New seat upholstery. Original door panels and dash. Nice dash pad. How about tilt steering and an original ford AM/FM 8 track tape player. Yes, the radio works. I did not have an 8 track to try out the player. The A/C blows cold.
