This 1979 10th Anniversary Pontiac Trans Am that is being offered by Idaho Classics Cars with just an incredible 1325 miles on the clock since being fully restored! Being equipped with the highly coveted 6.6 liter 403-cid Oldsmobile engine and automatic transmission, only 5,683 like it were ever made and this one is one of the better optioned examples! Fisher T-tops, power steering, and 4-wheel power disc brakes are among the most obvious of features but the interior is just as well built with cruise control, power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, rear defrost, air conditioning, and an AM/FM radio with an 8 track player. Finished in Platinum with Charcoal Gray accents over a medium gray leather interior, this is one of those cars that will make you feel as if you have traveled back in time to visit a dealership that is no longer there. This special edition Trans Am is in absolute mint condition and it is clear that this car has been meticulously restored. The drive train was rebuilt. The original engine could on be used so a correct year motor was sourced and bored .30 over with an upgraded cam. The engine compartment was restored to factory specs and condition. The body on this bird is amazing! Check out the fit and finish on the panels. Treated to a base coat clear coat finish. The restorer was so picky on this car four birds were applied to the hood until it was perfect. The interior is as new. Everything from the dash to the console was replaced or refinished to correct factory specs. All the gauges, lights, radio, heater, A/C, rear defrost and cruise control work. The car will come with a thick binder full of receipts, and a full restoration series of books that were used. The price of this car does not come close to the restoration costs!
